Steps towards innovation excellence

Are you part of the elite?  Why benchmarking?  Five-step process  Immediate results  Implementing solutions

Five phases af a typical benchmarking process

1. Select the evaluators
You select 5-16 key people in your business to become benchmarking evaluators. The group is cross-functional and composed of people from development, marketing, production, sales and management.

2. Questionnaire
The evaluators complete a confidential, detailed questionnaire covering the factors proven to drive new product performance.

3. Initial report
Using the ProBE Benchmarker software, we analyze the questionnaire data and produce a graphical report that we bring to your company.

4. Diagnostic session: the current situation
The ProBE Benchmarker consultant conducts a diagnostic session with you and your management team to review the benchmarking results. Together, we identify and define your strengths and weaknesses and the underlying causes of substandard performance and practices.

5. Conclusive session action plan and final report
When the current situation is clearly understood it is time to develop solutions. Based on the diagnosis we identify the changes that can boost your performance. Finally, we develop a plan of action, e.g., what should be changed in your development process and how the changes can be implemented. One or two weeks after the conclusive meeting you will receive a complete report of the diagnosis and the action plans.
